Today Xiaomi launched their first phones in the new Mi CC series – the MI CC9, the MI CC9e and the Mi CC9 Mito Custom edition and in this video I am going to tell you guys all you need to know about these 3 phones. There is a rumor flying around that these phones could also be launched internationally as the Mi A3 and the Mi A3 Lite!
The Mi CC9 and Mi CC9 Meitu are basically the same phones hardware wise with the only difference being the Custom Edition comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage.
Both the Mi CC9 and the Mi CC9e come with AMOLED screens and a dew drop notch at the top that houses the 32MP selfie camera. They also have Corning’s Gorilla Glass 5 as protection and come with an in display fingerprint scanner. The only difference between them is that the Mi CC9 has a 6.39 inch Full HD+ panel, while the CC9e has a 6.09 inch HD+ panel.
Internally we have the Snapdragon 710 AIE inside the Mi CC9 while the MI CC9E comes with the Snapdragon 665 chip. When it comes to memory options, both phones have 4/6 GB RAM options paired with 64/128 GB of internal storage.
Both phones have a 4030mAh battery with support for 18Watt fast charging but the Mi CC9e doesn’t come with one included in the box.
When it comes to cameras we have the same cameras on both the phones. The rear is a triple camera setup with the primary sensor being the Sony IMX 586 48MP one paired with a f1.79 lens while the other cameras are an 8MP ultrawide one and a 2 MP depth sensor!
Both phones run on MIUI 10 that is based on Android 9 Pie. If we do get the Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite, they would obviously be running Stock Android.

If the processor is SD665 which is clocked lower than the SD660, I would expect Xiaomi to bring a better heart to the Mi A3.

I like the CC9. Packed with useful features, headphone jack, micro SD support, NFC, IR blaster, and a large battery. But I wish it used the Snapdragon 730 and I think it's priced a little too high at around $290, should be more like $250 imo. But it's a well balanced device overall
720p+ is preventing this phone from being top notch
