  1. Today, I was upset at a store manager, and got into my truck, and missed my shifter – grabbing the stick on the right, turning the windshield washer on.

  2. 🌞 How big of a solar panel do I need to charge a 12 volt battery?
Summary. You would need a 3-5 watt solar panel to maintain the most common sizes of 12V lithium batteries with a PWM charge controller. You would need a 3-4 watt solar panel to maintain the most common sizes of 12V lead acid batteries with a PWM charge controller. Can I directly charge battery from solar panel? It's important to understand the following: Don't connect a solar panel directly to a battery. Doing so can damage the battery. Instead, connect both battery and solar panel to a solar charge controller.

  3. I new someone who prepared race engines and he told me (my car having a rather impressive turbo conversion) that he had seen turbos running on the test bed not red, not yellow, not even white hot, but so hot the 1/2" thick iron housing was transparent, and you could see the turbine within. 1000C or more. He's says that to idle after a turbo has worked hard was necessary because the oil going through the central bearing was as much to do with cooling as it was lubrication, oil flows through there like a tap. If you turn off when the turbo is still too hot it will cook and carbonise the oil in the bearing leading to early failure. (A fire extinguisher in the car always being a good idea). Waffling now, but in my car after a run on a still warm day I stepped out of the car and the air coming under the car and off the turbo, blew on my ankle – very hot. I would have to change the cv boot every 6000 miles because the turbo would burn through it despite a baffle being put there, between the turbo and the joint to prevent that. The CV being down wind of the turbo. That car was quick, I could drive into the rev limit in top gear some 150mph. The speedo needle would be pointing straight down against the mileage trip (if you had the time to look at it). It was tricked out with everything else as well, suspension (my racing friend said he had had race cars with softer suspension), lowered, brakes, spoilers, full race head (modded by a specialist race firm specifically for this modification), camshaft, remapped, custom exhaust manifold (the most difficult bit to get right in the turbo conversion). If you floored it (if the wheels were to grip) it was capable of doing away with 1st, 2nd, maybe even 3rd gear (not that you would have sufficient grip from front wheel drive even in ideal conditions – torque steer was a problem) , the suspension so hard that I would break water header tanks and pop shock turret caps over ruts and bumps. It was featured in Car & Car Conversions Magazine in 1985 and was billed as the fastest MK1 Golf (GTI 1800 Campaign Model) in the Country. The car would regularly be taken out to the Goodwood racetrack (not by me – I'm not talented enough), then the tracking, camber, caster altered during the week for testing the following weekend. Miss that car, strange thing it sounded dull as dish water below 2500 RPM (because of the cam), timing was advanced only a couple of degrees, you could leave it idle all day, and it was passive to drive around town, the clutch was heavy, and I had coins and matchsticks pressed into the dash to stop rattles. That car would be worth a few pounds if I had it today 🙂

  4. I don't know what that dude thinks he's doing with the control on the front end loader, but he obviously doesn't know how to drive properly. There's no reason to keep waving it about, like that.

  5. incredible landlord did not pave the place. Typical slumlord in Florida. We winter each year and next season is a new place for us "The Villages" many fellow new Yorkers living there.

  6. The van that was weaving and slowing down then speeding up is what they call a text driver, they don't care about them selves or other drivers on the road because they are not watching the road instead they think it's more important to look at there phone while the car is in motion, which causes many wrecks to happen, sometimes at a stop light I've seen people texting as the light turns green and they just sit there, I'm afraid that is everywhere in each state, sad part is that text driving is as bad as someone driving drunk the only difference is you can turn off your phone.
For the life of me I cannot understand why people can't put down the phone while driving a car. Sorry I had a rant, I see text driving each time I'm on the road, people weaving off the road and not watching or paying attention how they drive just gets under my skin why those people are so stupid when they drive.

  7. Hey Ray, for the power unit not wanting to come down, try checking the inline filter. Sometimes it gets gunked up. Might be that as well.

Cartridge with coil usually works or doesn’t, is not change the coil, might be week. Test it on a battery pack and with a flat head see if the coil sticks good to it.

  8. he's goosing the throttle and shifting the bucket to level it off so he's not dropping mulch all over the place. keeps the mess contained. not sure how it works on that one but some have pedals, some have levers, some have sliders on the joystick.

  9. I towed a heavy load with a non-turbo engine and when I stopped for gas and turned off the engine, the coolant started to boil over and temp needle climbed. I restarted the engine and the boiling stopped and temp needle went right back to normal. After that experience, I always let the engine cool before shutting down.

  10. Always enjoy your videos no matter what the subject! Addressing your dog and digging under the gate… Remove about 3" of the material and lay chicken wire down then cover it up, when the claws hit the wire they hate it and will give up. Have yourself a great day!
