Ray, instead of scraping down your driveway for the gate and creating a low spot, raise the gate a few inches.
Almost make you wonder what took place during "Dealer Prep" or PDI (Pre delivery inspection). Wifes new Subaru Outback came with about 70 lbs of air in each tire… I know they air them up during shipping, but one would think they check that at the dealer prior to delivery.

Those of us who live where it gets cold and park outside need to remember that animals seeking shelter will get into the engine compartments and be killed or injured when we start our cars. My father would bang on the hood before going to work. With a remote starter, blow the horn with the "lock" button a few times and wait a minute before hitting the start button.
