I switched to iPhone years ago. Before that, I was using NOVA. It was the best launcher. I loved it. This just sealed it for me, I won't be going back to android. It won't be the same. The stock launchers are all filled with bloat and ads and bs, and now even the 3rd party launchers that made Android great are going down that path too. I can't deal with it. I'm done with ads in my life.

Back in 2016 (NOVA) was the launcher that I would use the most with my phones inside my(CASA) making it really (CASANOVA)…

Switched from Nova Prime after Years to Lawnchair as said here and to be Honest.. not Going Back to Nova its Great and FOSS and in my Opinion even better! after what i have seen here. I use nova launcher on my vehicle's android head unit. It hasn't seen an update in probably 6 or 7 years
Maybe the community will make a new launcher maybe an open source one? Hopefully we do I understand there maybe one already out there but if we make a better one why not?
