  1. I'll bet that battery costs about double what a regular one costs? Just for the packaging alone, not to mention the extra wire attachment! That battery might be as expensive as the repair on whatever you guys are doing to it? Hahaha just kidding thanks for the video Ray, God bless you guys and have a great day

  2. Its because they decided to remove all the plastic wiring coatings and went green with a biograde wire coating tha squirells, mice and anyother nibbling creature loves.
A friend who rehabbs wild animals was called last winter to help get rid of the squirells that were nesting in and eating all the wiring coatings.
They lost tons of money because of it.

  3. Damn engineers!
Can't even make a battery easy to get to.
Some even need to remove a wheel to access the battery?
    How asinine is that?
In this case, a simple velcro strip or a few easy click nylon snaps with a larger flap would work.

  4. I own a Camry Hybrid, and I replaced the 12v battery with a AGM battery from Sam's club $180, you don't need to order this expensive battery from Toyota and spend like $500 o more.

  5. It pains me to hear this hybrid getting paid out because I've owned a 2011 model Camry hybrid since new and it's hands down the best car I've ever owned.
It gets serviced regularly but its total faults since new was replacing the headlight bulbs and wiper blades.
    Should've claimed warranty.
A car for me is a tool for getting from A to B and these cars are faultless for doing just that.

  6. I have like three of those small chargers for emergency use. The most I ever got out of one was a one time start. The rest, despite fully charging them, wouldn't even start a car.
Beside those small ones, I've had the bigger battery packs, some with air compressor and similar issues. I don't have much faith in them now. I also have issues with the small stand alone portable air compressors. They barely handle putting air and the last one I had, slime brand, it's gauge runs about 12 psi hirer than it is. I've been running my tires about 10 psi lower than they should be.

  7. Always amusing to see some wanna be eco friendly vehicle that requires a part that has a ton of carboard and plastic that goes into the trash compared to zero from a standard battery.

  8. Years ago my wife and I were at a Saturn dealership and the salesman was showing us a Ion and how it was so advanced because it had the battery in the trunk. Yeah. We bought a toyota. And it was one of the smartest decisions I ever made.
