My ratchet is doing the same.. time for a rebuild
Exhaust is quiter then a church mouse nice work @Rainman Ray's Repairs
Don't forget Ray that nuts are a choking hazard when you have nut gravity not just a tooth hazard lol @Rainman Ray's Repairs
S wrenches come in handy for lots of things I love them for headers and or Exhaust manifolds @Rainman Ray's Repairs
Good video As always Ray @mvery entertaining @Rainman Ray's Repairs
Multi layer metal gaskets are the best no matter if it's for exhaust or heads or plenum @Rainman Ray's Repairs
Use the point of the blue flame for the hottest temp and not heat everything or waste gas lol
Ported exhaust manifold tubes, that’s probably worth .75 horsepower
More pry bar.
No antiseeze on the new studs??
Polished and ported? lol
Thinking about it, wouldn't it have been easier to weld a washer to the stud and then weld the nut to the washer. Sorry just thinking aloud.
Well done Ray.
" I got a pocket full of nuts!"…. giggety!…..
With these manifolds it would have been a good idea to have the machine shop grind them flat again because these types always warp about 7 thousandths out or so which puts a huge strain on the bolts when they heat up.
You need a rosebud torch instead of a cutting torch… much more efficient for heating operations…
Nice work… keep up the awesome videos!
Why replace the old studs in the manifolds? And can't you use the hex end to wind them out?
That SUV tried to nut on your face 🤣
