Newsom exempted federal employees from this bill. So, you Californians that retiree here your retiree pensions can now be garnished. Before, ARISA protected pensions but now Newsom changed that.

30. I have lived in CA since 1960. Starting with Feinstein, the once beautiful prosperous state has been murdered by the democrats. The aircraft manufacturing in California was the largest in the world, the parts, support, etc., made the state middle class very wealthy. We were all able to buy nice tract homes, own cars, yearly vacation and start college funds for the kids. The crime was almost non existence. Since that time to now, starting with Feinstein, they systematically allowed the middle class jobs and manufacturing to go overseas. Now CA is a cesspool of crime, high state taxes, crumbling roads, WOKE DEI budgets money stolen from general services like, defund the police, fire, Cal tran, etc., Schools among the worse in the Nation, men competing in sports against women. Illegal welfare sky high. The Palisades destruction caused by Newsom raiding budgets, no water in reservoir, hydrants not working, fire trucks sitting because they laid off the mechanics. We can no longer go downtown as you will be carjacked or robbed. Newsom passed a bill where no bail and looting okay up to $950. per day per store. Stores closing, moving out. Minimum wage up to $20. now fast foods closing. This Meidastouch has no clue. The protestors, burning police cars, destroying and stopping traffic and full on riots. Look up Newsom and Rebecca Bauer-Kahan Bill AB 2837, which now allows big bank credit card to garnish CA retiree's pensions. I bet Newsom got big millions donations for that Bill. So now when you retire, ERISA can no longer protect your pension and anyone can garnish. Newsom expempted federal workers in AB 2837. Wake up you people. There is way more……
