Brian wont be cutting grass with this mower ever again, we had a storm that took down all the trees behind my house, and the logger just got done taking all of the knocked down trees, now we will be using it as a tractor playground, this was the 1st outing.

Instead of a solid brace behind the seat, weld some brackets for a small shock absorber. Like from a Pinto or an Old Honda

Add the driver portion from a 1 inch torque converter. Makes these offroad tractors rip like a gokart
Man, that lawn mower in the mud is just asking for work. Give me a real 4 wheeler in the woods, and keep the tractor for shuttling around the yard…
weld small angle iron on the chains like pedals or loging trucks have, it get you out of the mud
I have been thinkin of finding a snowmobile track, cut it in ten in wide strips and mounting them around the tires somehow, to make a tracked tractor.. might work.

Hey, I have a similar tractor to that. Much more modified, though. It's pretty much my $200 ATV that does better than most $5000 ATVs.

Diff lock, mud tires, govner bypass, change the trans pulley to a smaller and foot pedal gas pedal and you should be okay.
