DAMN! Android 9 Pie on OnePlus 6 – Hands On!

This is our video on the recently released official Android 9 Pie BETA for the OnePlus 6.

Note: Beware before you flashing the ROM, that the build is still on Beta and it has some minor bugs.

Instructions for upgrading from Stable official version to Android 9 Pie Beta version:

1. Download the ROM upgrade package.

2. Copy ROM upgrade package to the mobile phone storage.

3. Settings – system updates – top right corner icon – local upgrade – click on the installation package – immediately upgrade – system upgrade to 100%.

4. Select Reboot system now.

5. Update successfully.

Instructions for upgrading from Developer Preview version to Android 9 Pie Beta version:

1. Download the latest ROM upgrade package.

2. Copy ROM upgrade package to the mobile phone storage.

3. Settings – system updates – top right corner icon – local upgrade – click on the installation package – immediately upgrade – system upgrade to 100%.

4. Press the power button and choose to shut down.

5. Select Reboot system now.

6. Press the power button + volume down to enter recovery mode.

7. Select Wipe data/factory reset, click power, select yes, confirm.

8. Select Reboot system now.

9. Update successfully.

Please note: This upgrade will clear all contents of the phone, please make sure to back up.
