Use old transmission fluid it axtually walks up the rust oil wont do it.
Do you also use grease in addition to your chain oil/5% diesel or kerosene mix or now, just the mix?
1 gallon of 30w bar and chain oil and 1 tube of Lucas red tacky grease is the ratio i use heated up in a crockpot and sprayed on with my undercoating gun.
I noticed that the used oil will retain some dirt and water and it would dry slowly, im afraid that it can rust. What do you think?
4.30 😀
Holy pressure batman that thing makes a mist!!
Would new motoroil do also the job even better??
Just seeing this video. Can’t believe how there’s virtually no rust on that truck after 13 yrs of being in salt/snow. That’s an incredible product you’ve engineered there. You need to market that under your own brand name. Works better than anything I’ve seen
Transmission oil works even better cause it protects and lubes rubber seals without deteriorating rubber…and it’s lighter and easier to spray if you lay it in the hot sun..to heat it up….they all work…just a mess…I use a squirt can…every couple of weeks and hit it hard….I’m crazy…spray doors wheel wells..everywhere but…do it only 5 mins. And run before it blobs me…do it often especially rear end..
what's the body got rubbed into it? tailoring wax?
My self I never used used oil from a motor the carbon from the motor forms an acid … I mix STP & Lucas together with 10W-40 and use my Shults gun and spray the whole thing evey 2 years…
If I bring you my suburban from Connecticut would you spray it for me?
Place painters plastic covering on floor before doing a job like this. Once all done just ball up plastic and throw out. Wow floor is all clean cause it was covered. This type plastic is cheap.
always make sure you get oil in rockers even if you have to drill holes
why are you blowing all that stuff around? it will help the oil gum up & stick better
might want to do that with a mask… cough cough
Be easier just to take your valve cover gaskets out and let the leak do the undercoat for you
Waxoyle mixed with used motor oil. Ratio 1 to 3. Heat in a pan until hot to thin it, then spray. It cools to a buttery texture.
My frame smells like Hawaiian breeze
Mix in some of thoes gel candles to the bar lube. I heat it in front of the woodstove for a few min and spray with 40psi in my.universal sprayer.
petroleum attacks rubber so I am trying wool wax. Similar to fluid film, but thicker and little oder.
Eeew, scratching that frame coated with mud at 1:49 and rust at 3:23 with bare finger nails….just gives me shivers and chills.
Ospho rust converter then paint then rust proofing oil or other films.
using chain oil isn't a bad idea. well done.
can you brush it on ?
Thin the oil with pure odorless mineral spirits for the lowest odor possible.
Years later….do a follow up on this.
