Customer says “I fixed the wires for the Neutral safety switch
Ray looks at the wires
“Oh my god!â€
Best part ever
I wonder if a high quality CONTAC CLEANER would fix those filthy relay contacs.
Greetings: Looks that the 'cans' (afriCans/ jamaiCans) their hands on it. So primitive R they. So fun 2 watch also. Thx 4 the share. Bsafe
I like this video so much I watched it (More than) twice…
This video had lots of doodoodoos
How often do you open the hood and say , what the fxxxxxxx xxxx is this xxxxx xxx . Do you ever show your customers the cluster fxxx under the hood. ?
Funny because I used to always have to fix the idiot mechanics work.
15:10 “where is the ground? Well, the black wire anyway?..â€
Can someone explain to me what he meant here? New to electrical and car stuff. Like is the black something that is not the ground but acts like one? Is it the ground but they’re normally not black? Any help appreciated, really wanna learn and love videos like this! 🙂
Nice detective work!
Seems like we replaced one of those fuse panels once a week due to the green death.
That doesn’t look like an 07 Silverado that’s a 2008 at least.
Thank you Ray from your Sarasota fan club member "in good standing"…..
looks like a flood victim.
Ray i really enjoy watching your videos , you seem to be able to fix any problem that arises ,with modern cars being all computer controls , you are a wizz mate Cheers mate
Hey Ray. Was that a needle roller bearing on the floor at the 26 minute point ???
Looks like the customer already fired the old parts cannon at this several times over….
You didn't disconnect battery.
What kind of person can hear The Cranberries and not sing along? For your sake I hope edited that out.
Come on! Electrical tape is 89 cents at Walmart (Hyper Tough)… This tells me the guy who used duck tape is not cheap, but lazy, and lazy people always cut corners… no wonder the truck is all f'ed
Yeah I found my shirt of those I find that electrical spray for cleaning a little air after the fact to get rid of the dirt down below and some dialectic cream there I go again it's a medium
If you’ve been doing it long enough scan it, you’ll find diode’s are going in the alternator
Those wires on the two front studs are for a trailer brake controller. From the factory the wiring is there but wrapped up and taped to the harness.
GOOD JOB
What a joke never use junkyard parts #1 …#2 if u don't k now how to splice wires don't …Midas well use hot glue prolly would of worked better ..
It's amazing how wrong your 'former employer' was to make you unhappy enough to fire you. You are an awesome mechanic with honesty and mechanical ability and experience. Glad to see that you now have your own shop. Thanks for all of the videos.
It's always fun to fix the vehicle after the customer has fixed said vehicle
Brilliant i need more
„Oh its so stiff!“… out of context
And right AFTER I said it- I heard it… “WTFâ€
Oh well, he made it pretty far before uttering the words we all use LMAO!
Credit for not uttering : what tHE F%#$&@ at least 5 times! 🤣🤣
Actually worked and replaced an ECM in 08 Surburban and the camshaft sensor code pops up after the ecm is replaced so your ECM can learn the timing. Easy fix with a relearn process on a good scan tool. I was lucky and had a friend that just bought one that I got to try out. Otherwise most transmission shops or dealers can run it in like 15 minutes.
Sooo, the most prominent thing I took away from this is that you have experience wrestling with a big, heavy shaft in tight spaces. 😳 You nailed the perfect balance between dialogue and the work and stayed away from overexplaining. You have the "can/will-do" attitude, articulation and tact to have success in life. Have you thought about going into business for yourself? You could incorporate videos of all lift stations as well as shop area's and make money on the front and back end of the work. I sense that the intestinal fortitude is within you. Do it while you're young. A journey starts with the first step. Cheers!
