   Weirdest troubleshooting I had involved cam timing. I had a Ford Zetec dual cam with a belt that my daughter was using and she had a bad habit of cranking motors in a jittery fashion so that sometimes they would try and run backward. One time she did it and blew a lot of vacuum lines off, another time she made the cam belt skip over three teeth.
   ( Zetecs had a place for an extra idler and I found out why ) it didn't show ANY codes and would run but only had about 20 horsepower. Once I figured it out and corrected it a put the other idler pulley in.
   Good thing it didn't skip any farther or it would have really broke.
   And that would be bad.

4. No matter how “good” of a mechanic I love how these idiots check the oil AFTER they start and run the vehicle especially when a vehicle like a GM D.I. 2.4 is notorious for oil consumption. 😂😂

10. Why do you used air pressure for the rat poop and not a vacuum? You can breathe the poop dust.

11. I just replace mine on 2016 equinox I just replaced the exhaust one I buy it in amazon 30 dollars for both and they work and it star tripping with an oil change 5/30 oil

16. Watching the Snap On ratchets Ray uses. I think the red 1/4" is used for 10mm bolts and the green 3/8" for everything else.

20. The only thing I can see that's disputable is leaving the oil cap off during the job. Stuff could have totally gotten into the oil 🛢 🙄 I still love your videos 📹 💯💯👍🤝

21. Hahaaaa engine check light comes on if you put the writing backwards. Could be an Oil Cap short. Nice diagnosis too Ray

    And I really appreciate the humor as well as your quick diagnoses. Don't apologize for being familiar with an engine's typical issues. Any hack knows how good it feels to know what's going on before you delve into the problem.

    The customer wants the car back ASAP, anyway, and it leaves you time for the ones that don't jump right out at you.

37. I think 2015 included the years those 4 cylinders had bad piston ring seals. Used oil heavily.

38. Ray as an astronaut. Houston we have a problem. The telemetry computer is showing a P00p10 code. It appears some quadripeds have stowed away in the engine bay. So yeah – we're gonna need you to do a spacewalk to clean off any rat poop and clear the codes.

42. I had a Saturn that had with a p0365, p0096, p0017 and one more code that I don't remember. Replaced the cam sensor to fix the problem. I work at t&g motorsports in Missouri.
