  1. I'd be pissed if I was that customer. Whoever installed the "new" alternator previously was amatuer hour. They only had one job to do and they messed it up. New alternator in the garbage.

  2. How to put in freeze plug cylinder ( 4) under firewall. 06 dodge caravan 3.3. I put new one n and it leaks. I tapped n further and it stopped leaking. I put new thermostat, radiator cap. Then drove it 20 miles it did good then engine back fired n stared run hotter. Never got over 1/2 gage temperature. When I stopped at home stated smoking back engine where freeze plug. Radiator fans work correctly. I bought a different kind freeze plug a rubber expansion. Have not put it in yet motor was hot to touch.

  3. Had a similar issue many years ago with my Supra. Had fan belt replaced by national company who shall be unnamed but colloquially known as Crappy Tire 🇨🇦. They snapped off a bolt for the ‘nator bracket and left it. Of course it didn’t take long for a starting issue to appear as the tension loosened. Good thing I parked on a hill and it was manual tranny. Cousins shop fixed it for free.

  4. I admire your patience, if I had to do that job on a Monday morning or Friday afternoon I'd swear the alternator out ,it'd be a family channel but all the kids were grown up .

  5. The thing is I've replaced alternators and shit and never left a cable loose even on my first Ault replacement like bruh you have to be pretty fucking cooked to miss something like that considering you're well aware that it could vary very vary vary VARY easily kill it's self from arcs and considering the vary delicate components inside need to have a steady output and not being able to ignite the air (arcs) should be Damm common knowledge because it was for me and I've never messed up a nater once thankfully (fun fact my car is still using the oem one 279,000 miles without much issues yea I almost killed it as when I looked when I replaced the bushes in her my bearings had decided to run away and that had caused my old bushes to get suck under a lip and not make contact

  6. Close, fuel pump wouldn't lock up, it would have a bad segment in the rotor.
If it stopped on that segment it wouldn't conduct power until you banged on the tank etc and it got to another segment.

  7. I'm going to start using your videos to show my shop that it should only take so long to test and repair my car ! Most your videos are what 10-15 minutes long so that all it should take them to fix my car from now on ! Thank you .

  8. I bought a BMW with 5 new tires(spare still wrapped) after the seller paid a dealer $600 and they couldn't fix it. I overheard the seller offer two young men the car for $200 but they declined. I told him I would take it. It was in another city and he called later that night saying he would have it towed to his work. The next morning I was looking for the car in the parking lot and lo and behold it had a new paint job too. I paid him for it and called a tow truck and forgot that he said it didn't run. Well, it started right up. The roll back up and down unstoppable the fuel line and there was nothing else wrong with it
The same thing happened to me on a new Buick rental.drove it and pulled into a rest area and it wouldn't start. After a rolled back took it to the nearest return, gas started pouring out when the car was tilted to roll it off the truck.

  9. The battery was low on voltage but that doesn't mean you need to hook up the jumper pack incorrectly. Always connect the positive terminal first then the negative. Its just basic mechanics keep any potential sparks to a minimum.

  10. My Chrysler town and country won't start if it's parked nose down downhill. Even with a few gallons in it. But coast it to level terrain and it's fine.
