Who, in their right mind, replaces 2 idlers & a tensioner and not ALSO install a new BELT? ESPECIALLY when it is clearly noisy?? 🤔 😮

After busting knuckles and drawing blood with ratchets and cheater bars too many times, I finally bought a serpentine-belt service tool. It makes a world of difference.

We purchased a lot of the Star craft buses and not the best. We ran them 24/7 just to get them over the minimum to surplus them out
i would have used a mechanics stethoscope to listen to the pulleys without having to take the belt off
Was that a naughty word at 22:10, as the belt slipped off? No worries. You deserve them now and again. 😆
I kept waiting to see how you were going to line that belt up around the tensioner pulley. You seemed tuned into the belt and the tensioner, so I kept thinking you knew something I didn't, then you realized. Sometimes the camera sees so much more. And then the other thousands of eyes that watch your every move.

I was doing wheel cylinders today as I was tightening them they got tight and i said click

I’d recommend dropping $20 on the serpentine belt tool at harbor freight, gear wrench makes a nicer ratcheting kit for a bit more.
I like how he involves us in helping him find a dropped bolt or watch for a leak when he is up top starting a vehicle.
Excellent camera work not to mention the actual diagnosis and repair with a good attitude. I on the other hand would have had a lot of choice words that would have to edited. Excellent work young man keep doing what you do
Actually, I don't think you screw up usually, you bolt up.
I really thought with all of that screaming that you would find a bad diode in the alternator too.
I got a 24" breaker bar with a 1/2 drive that so far, I've only used to move the belt tensioner.

O my goodness,the grate Ray did a boo boo on the belt.were all humans and make mastakes,you just cought yours and corrected in a timely fashion.yes I enjoy your workman ship on the autos and the play by play comments of yours as well.
