In this video I bring you along as I apply Fluid Film to my 2013 Toyota Tundra to help it stand up to the nasty salt of NY winters. I try out the “professional” spray gun and also the DIY straw that goes on the rattle cans of fluid film. -Enjoy!

  1. I used Crown for many years until I bought my FJ cruiser. I crowned it once and all the rubber gaskets swelled up. Even the fender flares swelled up. Is the product you’re using now safe for rubber

  2. try 4 direction method next time
front to rear – only spray the area u can see in this direction
rear to front – only spray the area u can see in this direction
Left to right – only spray the area u can see in this direction
Right to left – only spray the area u can see in this direction
You've covered most of the area u can see.
All the rest is to cover up deep gap and touch up the details.

  3. So, what I get from this is that you didn't think enough of the Krown product to stick with it? Really just tryin to gather info and make a decision… Man! I really need a lift!

  4. Hi again I live in Wisconsin and never heard of this found the applicator and the juice will be putting on my vehicle come spring thank you really cool

  5. 1000% agree, i also live in the canadian rust belt and started using rust check in 2014 f150 since new, still looks like new and runs like new and as a great comparison my niebour bought same truck same time never oiled it and it's a rust pit, what a waste

  6. Have used fluid fluid for years on new equipment being shipped overseas an have had no complaints some of the equipment is at sea for months just bought a Ford Maverick an I checked the underside an found a lot of bear metal so I ordered the same kit he has here an this weekend I will lift it an spray it front to back an remove door plugs an spray that to

  7. There are a lot of people that offer the service now for under $175, at least in my area. I went ahead and did my truck this year, just with cans, and I went through about 7-8. So, if you do the math it really wouldn't cost that much more to have somebody do it that has a lift. Doing it in the driveway sucks and I actually had some room because my truck sits higher. I'll tell you what though, Ford really hit it out of the park with those aluminum bodies, I don't think I'd get anything else living in Ohio.

  8. hi there I recently had my rear diff oil changed and they send there was metal in the oil like sparklys, they said everything was in spec but i need a re build but then when i got home i remember that when i bought the truck used in 2020 the dealer has shown me a that there shop rebuilt it, my question is, is it normal to have some metal in in the oil after a rebuild?

  9. Great Video Eric. I bought the kit at NAPA w/ gallon of product and the FF branded gun w/ single bottle. It was 150 bucks for sprayer and 50 for the gallon of ff this fall 2023.

  10. Good video thank you. Side note… the sprickets in my garage seem to love this stuff. They congregate around the little drips and protect it valorously. Must be the sheep wool juice… creeps.
