  1. Good luck on your new adventure , I watch your vids mostly Ray , I can Remember when Richard Rawlings made a move from his little work shop in to now whats his got . Go for it for your family and Business. Got to move on ..Trevor from UK..

  2. I know you're advocating against all the "could be/should be's" but does the 03-07 ford diesels have a filter in the ccv system too? As far as i can tell its just a small box from the valve cover to the intake tube, looks kinda small to have a filter. My truck (05) has an intermittent exhaust smoke condition, it goes and comes while driving, seems to run fine and no codes aside from glowplug module "leaving chat".

  3. I have experienced that warranty issue. I informed them that their wrong with that statement as both terms indicate that fluid is no longer contained within the compartment as designed, so therefore it is in a state of disrepair and needs to be revealed as intended. The service advisor sat there mouth agape and shrugged shoulders …

  4. I once took my pickup in for warranty service, as it was leaking oil.
The shop had someone start it up, and they forgot about it, until it burnt the engine up. They had to put in a new engine to fix an oil leak.

  5. Uk here…
    Oh dear…
I had to have my Turbo replaced on my Mondeo (Fusion) 2.0TDCi 140 about 6 yrs ago…I bought it in 2017 and I still have it.
I didn't have a run away but I noticed with checking my oil as you do it was going down.
£1200 later and I was good to go.
I have been careful after, how I used the car.
I was told I ran it too hard and didn't let it cool down before I stopped the car and this damaged the seals.

  6. You mentioned the DEF problems.
In Canada it's a nightmare. Def freezes at something like -13C and many areas of Canada get MUCH colder than that.
It's pretty common for guys with diesels to have them freeze up solid and in some cases it's a YANK THE CAB off to get at it / fix it.
