  1. Absolutely love your videos! What's missing inside the telephone is called a Magneto. It generates the power to make the bells ring at the house and to Signal the operator

  2. That $35 Schwinn Tiger is a vintage from late 70s. I own the cruiser from the same era. Yours is all ORIGINAL and all THERE. Clean it up carefully and place it on the web. It's easily a $200 bicycle. I would absolutely kill to find a classic that clean.

  4. Mustie1, All good garage sale finds, U can probably predict this, but, I like the Christmas lights the best… Though, that blower with the 8hp briggs on it was a steal….

  5. Gotta love ebay… that German austrian bike was made by Puch for Sears and one sold recently on ebay for $150. Nicer bike than the Schwinn, really nice frame, much stronger than the schwinn and ornate too.

  6. That Kennedy machinist carry box is very similar to one i have I don't see one on ebay now but when I looked a while back the last one I saw sold for $50

  7. Five of those Schwinn Tigers sold on ebay in the last three months for between $350 and $550   I was very familiar with Schwinns of that era (I bought a brand new Sting Ray for myself in 67) I don't remember ever seeing a Tiger… doesn't mean they were rare then or that I didn't stand right next to one as a kid, but they ARE rare and desirable cruiser bikes NOW.

  8. That Coke pitcher is cool, not worth anything or very little, but be a nice item to use. From $10 to a dollar sold on ebay came with a set of glasses though… someone sold a whole set for under $10.

  9. Holy mackrel, that speaker wire is good stuff, the copper value alone is phenomenal. Guess they haven't price copper speaker wire lately either!

  10. D-man, apparently those NH plates you got are special front only plates issued for 2 years 76 and 77.    From the internet: "New Hampshire  –  1976 First for Independence.  A number of states that issued license plates in pairs made special Bicentennial front plates, which motorists could legaly use to temporarily cover or replace their actual front license plate.  These were effectively state-issued booster plates, that in most cases actually looked like booster plates.  New Hampshire offered such a plate; the red, white, and blue First for Independence plate, which was unique in that had a large serial number on it.  Because of this, it's easily and understandably mistaken for a license plate, but really it's just a numbered booster plate."

  11. Had One of those Hella Units as a kid.
I have no idea where i got it,but the dynamo would slow me down! lol.
I was more interested in strapping my am radio to the bars so I could listen to Gary Numan-Cars

  12. Hella is a German automotive electrics manufacturer that also made (or makes) relatively expensive lighting systems for bicycles. That German bike frame looks like it might be a Schauff, which is considered to be a pretty good brand. I like that gas lantern, too. I used to have a Toro leaf blower that looked similar to that and could be converted to a vacuum. Lots of good stuff! I had a Schwinn bike like that,  but with chrome mud guards and a fancy "tank" with a horn in it. My dad thought he was giving me something really fancy and I acted like I was thrilled with it, but the dang thing was so heavy I could barely ride it. I wanted an "English racing bike." I have one now! LoL

  13. Nice finds…I really like that lamp, too.  In it's glory, Sears sourced products from all over the world and a lot of it was really good stuff.

  14. i wouldnt change anything on either bike just clean them up, an i would like to see you put those whitewalls on he sears, i dont think they will fit, not the fenders anyway 😉

  15. still drooling over the single cab…  Thanks for showing it.  Helps me dream a little better.  Our sales are still lame.   Everyone here must give their good stuff to the people to the East.

  16. I got hypnotized watching all your great scores! Those bike generators were the hot ticket years back. Neat to see it working too. Got a chuckle out of those Christmas lights. Hang them on a tree! :>) Never seen them before. The leaf blower motor gets saved for a future project?
