  1. I just learned that there is a great product called weldable primer, you may already know about it, but it is just the thing for protecting supports under a panel because you can spray the primer on and then weld the panels in place. The primer then flows back around the area that was welded, preventing future rust. Apparently there are several types but the copper based version was recommended.

  2. Looks awesome…..the side that you cleaned that is. 🙂 Na, the whole thing is lookin' great, especially the 'treasure chest'! I hope your last video of it will have a bunch of before and after shots.

  3. Wax job looks mint. Perfect finish for that classic truck. Like the restoration of the side hatch door, clever with the hardware upgrades. Somehow that shiney paint in the cab seems disrespectful…lol
Great video of the huge tasks you've completed on the body and bed.
Let me know how many teeth are on that 7HP elec starter pinion, hmmm
Stay warm, where's the SkiDoo ?

  4. Sweet, you did give yourself a 'gate break'… came out pretty nice considering what was left of the hinges. Love the 'kickstand', repurposing stuff like that is too cool. I dunno that paint matching is a bugger, I was thinking more black, AND more gray, but it's such a difficult balancing act. The cab sure came out nice though… the underside of the old rubber mat that WAS in there is probably where the mice got the felt nest that was in the skid plate.

  5. Nice job, very clever on the metal fab and preservation techniques, your going to have a cool pickup when it's all done, here in the uk these go for big money. Anyway I look forward to the next update 🙂
