Come along with Eric O as he has a look at this 2010 Ford F350 that has a customer complaint of “No Right Headlight.” Both the high beam and low beam are out. One thing we had to keep in mind is that the vehicle had a snow plow and a lighting isolation module installed in it and they can often be the source of a problem. -Enjoy

  1. I have an 08 f250 that has no low beams at all, high beams and flashers work as well as turn signals. I have brand new bulbs installed and that didn't solve an issue. When I probe the headlight bulb plug for the low beam I get around 9 volts. Fuses are good, grounds are good and wiring is good. When I checked the fuses they both have 14 volts. There is no corrosion on the connectors or wiring. I still can't figure out why my low beams aren't working.

  2. Have same issue. But yellow violet wire was cut. Still have high beams. No low beam on driver side. Out of answers for this customer so i tagged both low beams together and replaced it with a 1amp fuse. Shhhhh dont tell anyone

  3. I see thumbs-down numbers on many of your videos. Who are the numbnuts who would thumb-down this or any one of Eric's superb troubleshooting and repair videos? Disaffected stealership grease monkeys? Inquiring minds want to know.

  4. Hahahahah I instal plows in the winter so I know where your coming from. Hahahahah I laughed so hard because some people just shouldn’t mess with shit

  5. Oh ya, incase no mentioned it.
FET is Field Effect Transistor. Not as current capable as a regular bipolar transistor, but they switch fast and obviously work well with headlights.

  6. I was watching for so long and forgot the crickets were in the video. Started freaking out thinking the cricket was in my house! Crisis averted.

  7. I've never understood some peoples willingness to hack up a perfectly good wiring harness. I mean I've installed a few stereos and some lights and even a snow plow once but I always spend a few extra dollars and get the adapter plug so I don't have to cut any factory wires.

  8. think electric tape smells.good. you should smell zip tape. I'm a contractor and we use it to dry in roofs and weather proof windows. I love the smell of it. best tape in the world. will stick to anything. it's the what flex seal from TV wants to be lol.

  9. I got a 95 explorer. I had a brighter style factory bulb. one of them blew so I put both the original bulbs back in the truck and now my high beams dont work. on both side. worked before I changed bulbs to brighter ones and after I changed them. but Now with originals. no highbeams

  10. HAH! I just did this diagnosis on an 06 E-350 yesterday! Driver side headlight out. Found it to be an internally shorted Multi-function switch.
