Wanted: Suspects for Commercial Robbery in the 2nd District [VIDEO]
The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects in this video:
On April 11, 2026, at approximately 12:20 PM, police responded to a reported robbery at the Dollar General located at 9741 Oxford Avenue. An employee of the store, reported that he was working alone behind the counter when two unknown black males entered the business. The suspects forced the employee to conduct a reload transactions on gift cards. One male initially attempted to load funds onto a gift card using a barcode displayed on his phone; however, the transaction did not go through. At that time, the male leaned over the counter and stated, “I have a gun, don’t play with me,”. The suspects then directed the employee to access the cash option on the register and manually process the transactions. The employee complied with the offenders’ demands and completed two separate reload transactions in the amount of $500 USC each, totaling $1,000. The employee attempted to delay the process by telling the offenders that the gift card transactions were unsuccessful as other customers began to enter the store and form a line. The suspects then exited the store and fled in a white vehicle that had been parked in front of the store.
