I would say that you failed to mention that the alarm that goes off when the timer reaches 0 is actually VERY loud. At least on the Nexus 4 and 7.
Short answer: Yes.
Long answer: Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees.

Seen it. It look a lot like Sony clock app. Different Ui but the whole apps works similarly
you should have shown the alarm going off. i set a cook alarm the other day and when it when off i was greeted with minimalistic beauty. it's weird getting excited over a clock app but Google has outdone themselves with this.

Any possibility to quickly set the time to a new timezone, like on Nokia, without going deep into time/date settings?
Is it connected to google now like an example press the Google now button and say "set alarm for 3:00 pm" from the Google now app?

Wish there was a way to stop loving pure Android, but I see no cure in sight. Especially with innovation or at the very least, making changes the public actually wants quickly. Could you imagine waiting almost 4 yrs for your phone to allow wallpaper behind the icons?

You should try it with Google now (timer, alarm, etc…)
try circle alarm. To disable the alarm you have to press and hold the button so that may help with the snooze thing

You know you can long press on icons you don't know and it will tell you what it does
I like the visual appearance of the stopwatch and timer, but the icons were not very clear. I feel like a user who is not as inclined to just press all the buttons as I am would have a hard time learning this app.
I run only when chased. LOL.
