I will be at POCONO SPEEDWAY this weekend Aug 4th and 5th for some drifting so come by and say hello and maybe even come for a ride along!!!
I worked hard to make this fix as simple and cheap as possible so anyone can do this at home! If I can cut a hole in my exhaust the size of a playing card, you can fix your small leak!
Here is what I used:

I don't have a vacuum or an air blower, is it okay if I just start up the car and get under it and soapy water around?
This dude!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Great vid
This sounds to good to be true I'd really like to know if this methods really do work on someone who kept there car.
The exhaust putty you show in the video is different than the link in the description. I found the correct link in your pinned post.
This is super helpful and is going to save me a lot of money. Thank you!
Wow. This was some genius level stuff. Why is it so hard to come with easier ways to do things?
I've never had those wraps work…any rust (usually why there is a leak) and they don't seal. I've had better luck with a soda can and some hose clamps.
What about using Stove Repair. Now that stuff…..works well too.
Thanks dude your awesome! 🤙
To the guy that sold you the mustang really cheap, after watching this video, I could see how he would be pissed after seeing how you found the leak so easily
Can i use mineral wooder instead of soapy wooder?
Thanks
Yes it sealed. Are you saying that the manifold seal lasted 6 years?
This video is so professional, looks great, sounds great! and you had to work with vacuums and leaf blowers? Not an easy feat. And now I can fix my truck, thank you!
Me purposely making an exhaust leak on my car**
kept expecting to hear that a shamwow and a little oxiclean fixes everything. disappointing.
For me I rather change the exhaust manifold, install a new exhaust manifold.
LIFE SAVER!!!
can't i just have the car running when i spray the soapy water?
When people ask me where I learned to be a mechanic I say cfti ( Chris fix technical institute)
Chris, great video. Your camera work is better than most. The only thing that I would think would be an improvement is if you stop shouting when you speak. Keep up the good work.
dickes Auto fahren und kein Geld ??
kauf dir einen gescheiten Edelstahl Auspuff !!!
Broo you are best!
Your the best chris
use silicone tape, or SUGRU (nice silicone putty) it will outlast your car. dont use on manifolds
This is just the video that I need. Same mustang same problem same side. Thanks heeps mate.
