Their is a torque spec on that compressor hack. No new o-rings, you're a joke.
I am no Audi expert but it amazes me that you were able to swap the compressor on a German car without taking anything else apart.

we all live and learn. as stated by other viewers for these cars dont have a clutch, there is a valve to change rather than the whole compressor which saved a lot of money. remove c-clamp or bolt and pop it out. replace and you're set, ac is fixed.

I'm pretty sure that's an A5 Cabriolet, not an S5. The A5 came with the 2.0L four pot, while the S5 comes with the 3.0L V6.

Ray, You said the hoses hold 0.3 lbs of refrigerant. That's 136 grams. The car uses 550 grams so when you checked the high side pressure (before compensating for the content in the hoses) and said it was low, the AC system only had 414 grams of refrigersnt. Could that explain the low reading on the high pressure side?

I really enjoy your videos! Glad to see an "easy" one. FWIW, the fasteners were probably "triple square" rather than Torx. Very close fit until you get into larger sizes.

Just because I have worked on a few VWs in my life, I can tell you that those are not torx bit screws. They are what is called "Triple Square". Get a set of those bits because you will ruin the fasteners (don't need to ask me how I know this).
