All race tracks should add a sand trap at the end of the strip much like the run-off lanes (on freeways with major elevation drops) used by big rigs when their brakes fail.
Damn he really did get real close to the sand pit at the end of the track. I've gotten real close like that before. Came down the track at 7:14 at 198.45 chute didnt deploy locked em up and needed new brakes and new slicks cause i had flat spots.
