Cracking off consistently low 8’s all day long, he finally breaks the barrier and lets us know that he’s still got plenty of room to go! Participating in Ignite Racing Fuel’s “Ethanol Nationals”, presented by Street Car Takeover, many cornfed and cornbred racers showed up for a chance to duke it out on the strip for the Street Racer class! With $10,000 fueling the competition (and some high quality ethanol), it was easy to see why the competition was so fierce!

  5. How is a Small Block Ford a rare combination? I see SBF mustangs at my local track running these numbers all day long all the time! Sometimes I see just as much FORD powered cars to Chevy. Anyways cool video.

  13. FireChicken ran an 8.51, so the Fox basically had it in the bag even with a bad run (a complete one nonetheless though lol).

  30. I have nothing but mad respect for builders using proper Ford powerplants in their Mustangs. Tired of this misconception that Mustangs need Chevy power plants to perform , which is nonsense.

  31. I would've really liked to see a clean race with firechicken. He must've had too much in it because it wasn't struggling with traction on any of the other passes.
