Dëathschleife! Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio vs Jaguar Project 8—Head2Head Preview Episode 112

On this episode of Head 2 Head, Jethro Bovingdon and Jonny Lieberman set out to see if the mighty Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio has finally met a car it can’t beat. Ever since its first comparison test, the Ferrari-engined sport sedan has laid waste to the competition. For a very good reason, too: the 505hp Italian is the real deal. Enter Jaguar’s bonkers Project 8. There’s a run of the mill XW sedan lurking somewhere underneath, but you’d be hard-pressed to say where, as 80 percent of the Project 8’s hardware is new. Most importantly, there’s a 592hp supercharged V-8 lurking below all that custom carbon-fiber body work and a trick AWD system and fancy racing suspension, too.

  1. Jaguar: 1:29.59 (now fastest 4 door)
    Alfa: 1:31.8

    Alfa wins the head2head…
Real winner is the CTS-V which ran a 1:29.69 last year and doesn’t cost $190k and you can still do burnouts.
Have a good rest of your day.

  2. WHAT happened to Head 2 Head????????????? The chemistry between Camisa and Jonny was PHENOMENAL!! Camisa..the pessimist negative EastcostJew and then Jonny, the Kick back laid back,, think this through guy, made a WONDERFUL COMBO. BRING HIM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. America wasn't supposed to receive any manuals with a clutch. But from what I've been learning about 5% of them made it over here with a third pedal. I will own one of them in due time. This is the car I've been waiting for, something that came and threw a stiff right hook out of nowhere.

  4. The ats-v was faster than the gulia though 🤣. No wonder Cadillac gave up, as long as it has a euro badge these clowns will say it is better.

  5. Jaguar should bring back the XF RS (or something similar), as well as a high performance XE. One that can go against the M3, the C63 and the Giulia QV. The project 8 just looks a bit too crazy.

  6. Not speaking negatively about any of the other cars, please note that you have three Cadillacs in that stats list! That is amazing when you consider how far back Cadillac was even 10 years ago compared to other sports coupes or sport sedans!
