Isn't it better to pump the clutch about 5 times while the bleeder is in close position and hold the pedal down then release the pressure by opening it then tighten before pulling clutch pedal back up? This way you prevent air from entering through the slave cylinder with it in open position while pumping the clutch pedal.

  2. Gentlemen, nice video in showing the steps to remove the flexible hydraulic clutch line and how to bleed the system. I looked on http://www.1aauto.com for the steel line that this rubber hose connects to but didn't see it. This is the steel line that comes from the clutch master cylinder and runs along the driver inner fender and then connects to the rubber hose that you removed. If you gentlemen have it or know of another source, could you provide a link. It's for a 2001 Ford Escape, 2.0L. Thank you!!
