  1. By any chance do you have a video of you guys showing how to wire up the wires like what color goes to what because mine got cut up but the wires are so old I can’t tell what wires go where now

  2. You guys have earned my business and recommendation over the years, to friends, family and other folks that are cash strapped but capable of learning and doing a job correctly with the right tools and parts, while avoiding buying unnecessary parts and paying huge labor and overhead costs. You guys are awsome!
Snap-on or any other tool company should love and want to support your videos as well.

Thank you once again! Teaching is the most noble of professions!

  3. The four clips that hold on that vent cowling on my truck are rusted and I don't know the correct term to look them up

  4. Thanks guys! Great video—and the only thing I wasn’t 100% Sure of was the alignment of the new motor arm, which I had to attached to the spindle, however I approximated the angle that you illustrate in the video and it worked fine. Only took about an hour to put it back together. And my symptoms were the wipers would not turn off —only could turn them off by pulling the fuse

  5. I can Guarantee that you will break One of the Plastic Parts, it Always Happens especially if the vehicle is 10 or more years old….

  6. Thank you for the video, I not only changed my wiper motor, I also installed a sheet of wire mesh over the fresh air intake to keep the damn $%@)$% mice out of the blower and the cabin

Underneath the cowl on passenger side, I took my die grinder and cut a square hold 5 x7 inches big enough to get the wire cloth in there and expoxied that over the intake

My 2004 GMC 2500HD didn't even come with cabin filter so I'm at least going to be able to prevent the bastard rodents from getting in.

  7. Very useful video, Only thing I would add (after doing my 2002 silverado), Take a picture of the orientation of the short linkage bar that attaches to the drive spline before removing the assembly from the vehicle, this will allow you to verify the correct orientation once the new motor is attached, and save a lot of time adjusting, The short linkage bar will be pointing to the left approximately just before the nine o'clock position, the farthest point left without bringing the wiper arms down at the start of the stroke.

  8. My windshield wipers don't move at all. How do I know for certain it is indeed the motor? Could it be the transmission, a fuse? 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT.

  9. This was very informative especially re setting the wiper motor before reinstalling the transmission. Thats for the great videos and your help, makes working on vehicles a pleasure. Thanks from New Jersey!
