  1. Depends on how old the car is, or the last time you changed trans fluid. The torque converter will shutter and not lock up properly. You need to change trans fluid and maybe add a friction modifier to the trans and it will go away. I had checked everything she talked about here and couldn’t figure it out until a tech told me to change the trans fluid and it stopped. It felt like you were running over rumble strips.
