We’ve randomized our starters in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, but they wont stay the same! Today we’ll be DRASTICALLY change their stats by INVERTING them! We’ll subtract each stat from 150, and that’s what their new stat will be! After six rounds of trying to turn the weakest of Pokemon into UNITS, we’ll build the best teams we can and have a best of three set of Pokemon battles.

50:45 this gives me an idea! Choose your starters as normal. Pick whatever you want but then in the battle the other person makes all of your moves for you. Both players still build their own teams but then you are trying to basically win with the other persons team

I think the voting / picking on this video was a bit uninteractive. My suggestions:
1. Opponent picks nr 1, 2 or 3 for you.
2. You tell them what they chose
3. You ban 1 option
4. They get to choose if they switch or not.
Optional:
– know what new pick they gave you
– get one time use abilities to scout if you should chiose the switch (first 2 letters, typings, bst, etc.)

I think if this is done again, 200 should be used as the benchmark. Using 150, all the average 70/80 stats stay average. Like altaria barely changed. Glalie would straight up be worse 😭.
Inspired by the most recent draft. You both see all 3 pokemon, your opponent rates them from 3 points to 1point (3 being the best). You have 12 points. Could create some funny moments

You blindly choose your starters like normal BUT (and only temporarily) ALL POKEMON CHOSEN ARE DEVOLVED TO THEIR “BASIC” STAGE.
Battle 1 will be the Pokémon’s Basic stage
Battle 2 the Pokemon evolve and become their Stage 1 stage
AND BATTLE 3 EVERYTHING IS FULLY EVOLVED

It’s not about morals, Palworld is just a boring game. Ark was boring and Palworld is just Ark with a shitty Pokémon skin on it
I think if you decide to do this concept again, I think a better formula would be:
The baseline is 128 (half of the max a stat can be), and simply find the DIFFERENCE between the base stat and 128
If the base stat is LOWER than 128, it becomes 128 + the difference.
If the base stat is HIGHER than 128, it becomes 128 MINUS the difference.
All around a fun concept though, keep being awesome, Shady!
Shaddy, u dont have to integrate both chosing starter and ability roll keep them seperate sections, thats better

Missing out on Desolate Land Solar Beam because of the reversed stats is painful to see. The double edged sword of sun boosted grass types is always fun if it actually ends up working.
