Dear Pete~
My name is Tom, just like my father~
You are only one year older than I am, and you remind me of many good times spent on my own family farm, with my family~
It was basically my mother and father, and myself on the farm~
Dad delivered long range loads during the week, and mother and I managed to keep about 300 head of hogs, 22 acres of corn, and about 200 laying/roasting chickens at any given time~
We had an H, and it served us well until the end of it's life~
I wish I had been older, I know it wouldn't have ended, had I known then!
I enjoy your farm and family, you're awfully refreshing!
I will make a point to tell you more in the future, but I just wanted to tell you that what you do is GREAT~
You're kind of a cross between Mr. Green jeans and Tim Taylor! With a lot of Mr. Rogers and Bob Ross blended in~
You're little fans are the best! It's shouldn't be a shock, but it still is~
Kids know real, and they know fake~ Just like your animals!
My best to you and your wife, (Who is a total Gem!) and your family~
I hope your dad is well, also! I've been blessed to have known men like he is, but they are few and far between~
Best of luck to you, and try to keep up with the vids, you really help some folks more than you know!
Good evening, Pete. We started watching this series in the middle of the restoration and decided to go back and watch it all the way through. We live in Maine, in the Dairy Capital of the state. The largest dairy farm is spitting distance from us. Now, We are retired I worked in nuclear power for the navy, 33 years and my bride was a veterinary technician. She and I both grew up around farms and animals. My uncle Jim was sort of a legend in the tractor community here. He was a master mechanic and worked for a John Deere dealer here for years before switching to diesel tractor trailers. Everyone brought their broken down tractors to him. I actually watched him a group of his buds go get a tractor that had been sitting in a field so long a small tree had to be cut to drag it out. He had it running, Engine, that day. He was amazing and always had time to teach. We appreciate what you and Hillary do. Your explanations as you might understand bring back fond memories of a childhood spent with him and others on family farms. Thank you.
Man those old tractors were built! Worked aboard F-12, F-14, H, M, C, 350, 706 and 656. My Dad loved the Farmall and International. Really enjoy your videos.
I wish I'd built tractors like that today they would last longer than have less issues I think
Pete I really enjoy watching you very educational but do you mark everything or how do you ermember how everything goes back together
Your commentary is soothing but the camera work is special…I like what you do Pete.
first time viewer today… really enjoyable without the the hype
I like farming but the equipment is by far my favorite thing.
I have some of the same tractors you're working on so you to are helping me a lot. SA,SC, 130, H, M, Cubs. They'll keep you busy for sure.Oh I also once owned an MD.
Hi Pete
Glad you know what you're doing we're things go back into their proper place hahaha, lost me already
I enjoy watching your video´s about your farm and your restoration on the tractor.
I like watching tractor videos
It’s always cool to be able to get the big tools out 🤠
Thanks Pete, I thoroughly enjoy your vehicle repair, restoration content. Being part way through a Massey Fergusson 35 myself, you've rekindled my enthusiasm – which had waned over the past couple of months whilst working full-time. So thanks again, loving seeing the spannering, bring it on.
All the best from a damp and dreary Scotland. All the best, Ian
I dont see you itemizing "section parts" in boxes. How do you not overlook a small part and have to go back in and disasemble something already assembled ?
Truly enjoy your channel. Brings back memories of my years on the farm in Indiana. Your videos are insightful and educational. I have toyed with the idea of a u tube channel, but not for any income. Just to share my years of work experience and life experiences.
Once again keep making videos and I'll keep watching.
Always impressed with the quality and design of older equipment. Made to last and to be repaired by the owners. Thanks for taking us on this journey with you Pete. Very enjoyable.
It's amazing looking at those gears and as old as that tractor is and what it's been used for there is very little wear on them. There sure are a lot of parts on a tractor when you start tearing one down…You always do a great job in restoring one…
I have been enjoying watching your videos. The nice thing about making videos on taking apart the tractor is that you have it available for reference once you start putting it all back together again. Seems every time i take things apart I end up with leftover parts after putting it back together again! 🙃
I grew up riding on the fender of a IH 1066. Some of my fondest memories on our small dairy farm.
Pete, really enjoy your videos. Your knowledge is truly remarkable! I would be lost after removing the first bolt! Thank you.
i remember when you bought this one, i though it "should be interesting to see this one restored" and here we are ^_^
Thank you for all the help you have given me !!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏
Glad to be here. I do not think that I will do one myself. Yet, I spent my youth sitting on tractors of this time-frame and enjoy spending time with them and you as well.
I like all of your nails
Hi this Donald watching your show really injoyed watching your show
My first piece of property had a workshop with a wood stove in it. My first snowstorm wrenching on stuff and not laying in my parents driveway and garage was like heaven! Love your channel!
