  1. I do enjoy watching your videos from time to time as I have a Farmall 656 and a IH300, so helpful! I have a BIG problem though with my 656 gear shifter linkage, it has been sloppy for awhile now but something broke. It moves side to side with no problem but while using it yesterday, the lever flopped towards me and rested on break pedal. Now it just flops back and forth and doesn’t go into any gear. Gear shifter swings freely and is laying on the top of break pedals like I mentioned. I took screw and pulled pin out to release shaft. I then slid out shaft only to see a ball bearing fall out which I retrieved, I then looked at a shaft diagram online and see it’s a poppet ball. I have no idea where the poppet ball came from and how to put it back. I watched your fixed sloppy shifting vid for your 756 but it really didn’t give me enough info so I’m looking for some help as I am getting desperate with assembly of where the screw, spring and poppet ball go during the re-assembly as I am clueless. I think if I hade a step by step which would tell me what part to assemble before the other and where everything goes, that would be helpful…I think? Just needing your expertise, thank you in advance for anything you can do.

  2. I appreciate the detailed 756 work. I find it very helpful. I have a diesel 756 here in North Carolina and love it. Pete motivates me to pull stuff apart and fix it. He has such a nice way of explaining all kinds of complicated stuff.

  3. I hope you do take the trip to the Farmall extravaganza. I would love to see the tractors obviously; but also their history of trucks and 4 wheel drive vehicles. Great video on the tractor shifting linkage repair Pete. Thank you. 👍

  4. If you get to the Red Power Roundup,You'll really enjoy it!!.. I've been to The Red Power Roundup in Bloomsburg PA in 2019 and The Red Power Showdown in Bloomsburg PA in 2014 and really enjoyed both shows!!

  5. My husband faithfully watches your channel. We live not far from Grand Island and as soon as he heard you were considering coming, he was excitedly talking about going down to meet you.

  6. Pete , take in the show & video all that interests you . After all it is your Interests that bring people to watch your show ! Make a series of films , as many as you believe represents your views . Perhaps you could do a film for each day , but , if it suits you better , split them into morning & afternoon .

  7. Good morning Pete. From your replies it sounds like you are planning on coming out here for Red Power Roundup 2023. I will be working at the show and would like to meet you. I will keep watching for more information on your plans.

  8. Pete, you must go, it is the place to be for one hundred years for Farmall / IH. I LOVE tractors so much, but it would be cool to show your viewers the many other products that IH manufactured. They made appliances and so much more it would be interesting for people to see. I can't make the trip but would love to go. Going out and sharing your experience would fill that void very nicely. Thanks again for the videos. I was watching the Farmall Fanatic video this week and saw you at the tractor auction and looking close at an 856. It looked like you were about to add that baby to the fleet but then let it go. Have a great one and keep the videos coming Pete

  9. Hey yeah Pete, I'd love to see some videos from the Red Power Roundup Show from Nebraska, tractors, tractors and more tractors. You have many models in the US that we didn't get here in the UK. Trucks too, they're always cool to see. Always enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing your farmlife with us. All the best. Peter.
