Are Pokemon heavy? Well, we may not know the answer to that but we know this van sure is! Even still it managed to impress us with some low 12 second passes during Rocky Mountain Race Week presented by RPM Magazine! 5 Race days, 4 tracks, and 1300 miles started to help show the age of this HIGH Mileage work horse! With nothing really more than a Cam a tank of nitrous, and mixed with a strict diet, this Heavy Duty tank probably wasn’t the most fuel efficient but at least the owner was able to tow his Race car trailer to the track with it! Surviving the challenges of Race Week aren’t for everyone, and it sure doesn’t help when your run into oil pressure problems halfway through, but Dan and his van survived and endured without grenading this 300,000 mile 6.0 engine!

  20. Just an FYI, 1 Ton is 2000 pounds. Since the owner said it was a little over 5000 pounds, this would make the van 2.5 Tons.

  32. I have a Duramax powered express 2500 that is my work van, of course it is tuned and it rund low 8's in the 1/8 mile. EVERYONE has something to say at the track, it didn't help that it was ful of work gear and had ladders on the racks going down the track. It is fun to race at the track.

    I thought the 6.0's came with the 14 bolt rear end? I have to imagine that is strong enough to handle anything a LS engine is going to make. Why change it out for a 9 inch?
