  13. Eh 2-3mpg if that, This is why they dropped the Design, hellcats manage 8mpg floored are over 4,000 pounds and a new pulley can make it 800whp, and still get 16mpg on highway if not more. The b58 that bmw is creating is a fully forged monster with a closed Deck, You can find an m240i 2016 for 25k with 40k miles, 30k gets you one with 2k-3k miles.
    The swap in a gs300 costs 5k for a shop to do it, Good trans costs 3k-6k
    99-01 gs300 run you 2k-3k or find a beater for $1,200 single turbo, fuel pump and injectors around another $6,000-$10,000 and then that's not even including the suspension work to handle the power, All to get a Strictly Drag only Highway car that gets No Mpg, And the gte is going to have 60,000-80,000 miles on it Already.

    I just don't see the point in dumping $20,000 in a 1999 Anything, A jb4 tune can net you 450hp in the m240i for $800, and You'll have Pretty much the best luxury interior, Traction control nannies and a lightning fast Transmission.
    1,000hp is fun i'm sure, But you can't daily drive this or Track it. I've been driving my m240i and I can go through $30 a day just messing around in it and in Reality the 335bhp and 379 torque is plenty around town and passing on highway/interstate. I'm not a bmw fanboy by any means I Just like the interior over anything else out right now, Gt mustang, ss camaro, srt 392, Any of those in my opinion would be a Solid Choice over dumping $20,000 in a 99 to go "fast" in a straight line, Like yeah if your rich and take it to this event once a year sure, But After year one, its like oh… Here comes billy in his gs300 Lol.
    No car on the road is competition in a straight line, I mean whats the fun in that? Its in a League of this guy has money to piss away and he just stays in his own little world.

I’m in Mississippi literally as south as you can get because we do have some areas with more city than country but not where I’m at anyways I was cruising and car spotting on a normal Friday evening and I look to my right and see that sexy bumper and tail lights I’m like nah there’s no way I legit found out about the is300 maybe 3 weeks before this and I shit you not it was an is300, I’m a huge 2jz fan boy so I lost my shit lol that’s an understatement tho and just to show how rare it is I’m 19 and last week I raced a Subaru wrx 04-05 and that was the first time I heard a subie upclose and in person and I did get a slight erection lol.

  28. Why do some JZ sound lawnmower 2strokey? I notice it on 4 digit ones, but 3 digit hp ones sound smoother and nicer.
