Ya'll need to stfu with the drag and track part, just accept that a muscle car is for drag, an aerodynamic sports car for track, just accept that the demon won because it was specifically designed to beat almost every car. This is a drag race not a track race.
That Demon is a fast!! Never been a Vette fan. It's kinda like they have always cheated by having an ultra light fiberglass body.

How Demon will do against the C8 Z06 when it hits the streets. My money is on the Vette.
i mean… at the end its all what you want in a car … a heavy straight line turd or a cornering beast that actually holds its value lol my guess is the vette needs a driver mod and a set of drag radials js lol put a street tire on that demon and run again lol
I don't know who's going to win this particular race because I don't know how good the drivers are in these vehicles but the Dodge demon should prevail if he's any kind of a driver at all

The fact that a vette can take corners has done nothing but aged VERY well.

Demonology is an A-1 alright dude!
I know it’s fun to watch but we’re comparing apples and oranges. Vette is meant to be a road race car that can turn in both directions and take corners at High speeds hence the huge wing that kills top end. And the roof comes off! The demon is great but it only has one job and that’s to go straight. It’s like comparing a weightlifter to an well tuned athlete that can excel at any sport.
the demon was built for the drag strip and comes with drag tires not to mention has seginaigaly more horsepower, that big ass wing on the zr1 isn't for drag racing if you haven't noticed by now. its just for fun people need to stop comparing these cars they're 2 complelty different classes

The Dodge is an old piece of junk. Cheap horsepower. Nothing is refined, nothing is thought through. It's a muscle car of the old days. I like it but it's, well, just not up to the game.
