Help me understand why you don't trailer the car to the races. I have no problem with running it on the street or highways as long as it's legal and I'm sure it is. But you could have saved some time and aggravation over that cracked fuel cell if you had trailered it. I think it's just too risky to drive a car like that to a race because anything could happen out there on the road as you found out. Next time it could be a semi trucker falling asleep and running into or over you.
I gotta say the rocky mountain vids were pretty lame as a whole. Mostly bitching about the heat and having car troubles than racing.
