In this race, he was matched up with a high horsepower, Nitrous powered Fox Body Mustang in the first round to improvise, when the car had a terrible launch and he had a ton of ground to make up! Looked to me like the mustang stopped accelerating for whatever reason. Nitrous shut off, fuel problem, could of been any number of things but something was definitely up the way he past him like he was tied to a stone there.
That Talon is quick but to get that speed the gear ratios are too long and it suffers under launch too. It moves once it gets going though.

Any idea why it bogged in 3rd? Could that be a traction thing or maybe a tuning issue? It seemed to fall on its face w/o lifting . . . . maybe rev limiter?
