Props for admitting the way you did it probably isn't the best way, even after putting in the work.
should have left a gap between cross bar and the riggers for the bumper to absorb some impact. the notches you cut would've made great crumple zones for it.
Thank Heaven you told people that you are not driving this on the streets. I would hate to have people think that any of these repairs are safe. That bumper is a nightmare, not to mention the piece of angle iron on the upper frame rail on the right side connecting to the core support. Even though you said you are going to track this car, you should still be worried about being safe in a crash.

Instead of constantly jumping on ebay for everything, why not establish a cordial relationship with the parts guy at a local dealer? You'll be surprised at the prices and how you'll be treated if you are a regular. They may be car guys too, and have an interest in what you're doing. Worth a shot, no?

why didn't you just go buy a used impact??? probably no more than $100 that you spent your time and money on those pipe. if not then just don't put one on
