In this episode we button up a few suspension components, mount the radiator, and then take the car out for its very first drive since it was crashed.

  1. I forget to like all your videos that I watch but just know I've liked all that I've watched. Old and new. 👍😁

  2. I think you are spot on with everything BUT, and for the first time, I have a suggestion. You need some rubber isolation pieces between the bottom radiator mounts (steel) and the thin walled radiator material. It won't just be in contact. It will be in contact and in constant motion.

  3. Imagine being one of his neighbors looking out of their window at that madness on wheels and then a couple of months later seeing a super car come out of the garage.

  4. In german it´s called a Klappenauspuff which is a kind of exhaust with kind of a valve in the middle. With the valve open the car is louder because the muffler is being bypassed. If the valve is closed the exhaust gases are being forced through the muffler which maked the car more silently.

  5. That exhaust valve at 4:50 is called the Engine Protection valve. It keeps the noise down and changes exhaust tone during normal driving, then opens up above 5500 RPM to reduce back-pressure by allowing the majority of the exhaust through a second low-drag muffler system. Lotus claims that when open, it makes more noise and power, and gives significantly sharper throttle response, I'd buy the first two, but I'm dubious about the third claim… TO THE DYNO PLEASE!!!!
