You should build a shop truck… something unique not just another f100 with a clearcoat patina and crate motor.

As for jeep fab we never use sheet metal when building strut towers. We have tube benders.
Should use the tape measure to place your bet on exact fit.

That sheet metal is what the Plasma Cutter is meant for! It's so much faster than a cut-off wheel!
hang your welding helmet on the gas tank when you are done using it and that would mean the gas is turned off. That is how I have done it and when my helmet is off the gas tank it reminds me that it is still on but when it is hanging it means its off.
Will the BMW suspension coil fit in the cavity? Doesn't seem wide enough
You could use a hole saw and some dimple dies to shed weight and make it stronger on the strut towers.
Not a big fan of the import cars. Done some research on the 240z and there a neat car and unreal how light they are. Have you thought of doing hill climbs with it when the build is done. the channel is great, Keep up the good work.

"Unfold" your template, mark it on the plate and partially cut through plate on fold lines, you can then easily fold the sections along the fold lines, then just reweld along the partially cut fold lines. Hope this makes sense

You could make the strut towers in one piece by using a folding machine and only two short welds needed

Looks good Chris although you built the top plate to sit on top of the temp strut. Depending on the thickness of your steel aren't you introducing some tolerances? Also I decided to read thru some of these responses to your videos and it seems you do get a bit of a hard time over this design and your welding. I hope you dont let that talk get you down and keep doing what ur doing. After all your clearly learning and thats what its all about… a journey of discovery with us lot tagging along. Looking forward to seeing the frame attached and the correction of the frame completed (The drop down) and (finally lol) while your designing new stuff for the shop why not try a new intro? Just a thought. PEACE!
