Have you considered adding in floor heat to your paint area? it would make for a safe and easy way to control temps in youor paint booth with out breaking the bank!

8:49 dude you are shooting WAY too much for a first pass of primer. That is why your final product is gummy. You need to dial the amount down to less than half that for first passes.

look at front drivers strut at 19:13 there is a gap where welding has been missed on the cross piece going from the 2 bars
rivnuts may be a better idea for the hatch that way you dont have studs sticking up.
You should try that Lizard skin spray on the floors. I think that should help with noise and heat.

primer probably didn't work well because it didn't look like you let if flash off enough in between coats, its likely going to clog up any sandpaper you put to it now as well,
