Ford’s New Godzilla Engine Is INSANE… And We Got It Some Upgrades!!! (First Look In The Engine)

NEW MERCH JUST GOT POSTED!!! http://cleetusmcfarland.com
McFlurry’s new engine needed just a few good upgrades before we slapped it in. This combination should work really nicely with some turbskis!

  1. Early 2000s there was that exact same color white/red notch on my block in Milwaukee. For Sale 2000…doesn't run lol. I offered 800, kid took it and laughed "good luck fixing it!" I hit the starter with a hammer, cranked it over and it fired right up. Drove away and his stoner roommate exclaimed 'dude, he ripped you off!' 😆

  2. So somehow I missed hearing about the existence of this engine altogether. Is it pure race application designed or are they actually putting this beast OEM into a production street car?

  3. Ty need a good helper!? He reminds of my father that passed away from cancer such an amazing fabricator. I would give my left nut to work with him

  4. Chevy and ford just keep topping each other, LS was an improved modernized copy of a ford FE and now Godzilla is an improved modernized copy of an LS… Maybe some day dodge can bring something to the table, but they would have to leave the trailerpark and their sister

  5. Ya'll dragging your jaws on the floor with the supercharged 5L Coyote motors in the F-150s, you could be dropping a Whipple on the godzilla to eliminate the plastic intake and tune the motor to produce 1450hp!?!

That could be a good start for a real ripper, and if you top out the supercharger you could then go with the turbskis later, hey it's only money and ya can't take it with you to the grave!

    Hell yeah brother!! 🦅

  6. The cut between the cylinders is for coolant. They used to use it on the small four-cylinder eco-boost which led to head gasket failures.

  7. I never got into the Ford vs Chevy debate! When I was in Jr College (late '70s), I had friends with both, and I can't count how many 350s and 351s (I forget if they were C or W) we did! All we cared about was the right parts went in the right engines and the right engines went in the right cars and they would smoke the tires at will! 😆

  8. if im not mistaken that camshaft / that plug you pulled out of the front of the cam may have something to do with VVT and uses oil pressure to advance / retard the cam? I've seen something similar in European cars…

  9. only thing I see thats concerning on the godzilla is that slit cut between the cylinders for the coolant crossover. Ford specifically had issues with some of their ecoboost motors for "coolant intrusion" and it was specifically at those slit points where the head gasket gets skinny. Ford recently revised the ecoboost 4 cylinders to no longer have a slit, and that coolant crossover was achieved with a cross drilled hole below the deck of the block so it doesn't compromise the full sealing surface of the headgasket. Just a thought if that thing is gonna see tons of boost.
