Getting the M5 Ready for the Road

In this episode we completely dismantle the front end of the M5 and rebuild it with new (used) parts, trying to get it ready for a 1,000 mile journey back to the shop.

Huge thanks to my friend TJ Hunt for allowing me to use his shop, check him out here http://youtube.com/ironmenfan1

  1. Last episode you said you were shipping it home and driving the Aston back. What happened? Shipping didn't make sense financially?

  2. 9:42 Actualy, the pasanger side is adaptive bixenon, this means both the low and high beam are on the same bulb, and what seems to be the high beam it's actualy cornering light, when you move your steering wheel to the right, it lights the right side. I don't know what's up with the driver side one. My guess is, you don't have adaptive xenon…

  3. Headlight "issue" sucks cause you'll have to open up the headlight by cutting it in order to add/remove that silly plastic piece

  4. Looks nice, I’m doing a build on a 99’ m3 e36 right now. More restoration than anything else, the engine has 165k and runs great and I’ll just step through it. The interior needs a complete overhaul. It also needs minor body work and new paint. Keeping it all original. The e36 m3 has a pretty rock solid motor; but with that generation the interior just fell apart after a few years.
