  1. What would Dale do? Sure wouldn’t have been in a ford. The comments on Facebook about this are funny. Guys in GM vehicles posting vids of awd/4×4 donuts. And lots more saying it wouldn’t have happened in a Chevy. The grass ain’t always greener my friend.

  2. I had a lifted 1985 Chevy swb 4×4 with 38.5×14.5×15 on 15”x12” wheels and about a 400hp small block that I tried a all wheel drive burnout and lost my rear driveshaft and had to drive home using my front driveshaft.

  3. The Truck is 4×4, not AWD. The transfer case is locked (Not an open Centre Differential or clutch type as far as I know) so Front and rear output shafts of the Transfer case spin at the same speed. There is a difference between 4×4 and AWD. A Subaru for example is AWD.
Hear the truck chirping tyres on the pavement in 4×4? Yeah thats bad. (Rear diff lock will also do that) But can also be a case of the driveline binding up until the tyre can slip. That's why the owners manual will state 4×4 Hi or Lo to be used offroad only (Not on asphalt/sealed roads)

  4. Truck giveaway winner guy is pretty awesome young lad.
    I'm friken glad he won.
I bet he's gonna drive it with pride.
It's not like you are seeing such an uniquie car on the street every day.

  5. Yeah, no, you don't want to be doing all-wheel drive burnouts on pavement but, when you're on a good icy road or icy patch of snow out in the field somewhere you can get donuts going so fast it is incredible.
