I think you should go ahead and build out the cage and put an x in the roof section. The car is already in pieces, the dash is out, it would be just a little more time and materials.

You could make carbon fiber door cards. They would prob be easier then trying to bend aluminium sheets.

Hi Chris, this is a link to bilk roll foam backed interior material. It’s primary use is for tractor cabs but for your interior project I think you’ll be quite pleased with it.

Prolly could of build the cage with the loop leaning towards the back and the support bars welded where u put the Felt material (beside the seats) to hide the openings. 👌👌
I know for sure R33s came with and without a rear wiper. Ive had coupes and sedans with and without the rear wiper. Im pretty sure 34s are the same. You can probably get a new rear screen for a cleaner look but time constraints, shipping and all that !!
