I have a 16 second car its it's pretty sweet.
when I first saw the murder nova on discovery's "street outlaws" I almost though the car had a Liberty 5 speed in it (same trans. the NHRA Pro-Stock's run), I know a few local racers (here in Ohio) that run them and never had any problems with them (again, they're not cheap, but its a dam good trans. (same with a LENCO trans))

Get a Turbo Glide XD Pro Mod transmission from Rossler and it will be the last transmission the car ever needs, not to mention it weights only about 98 lbs and Carl said they are street friendly to boot. sounds like a win win for a serious car like this one
Why do u say ditch the Glide? What, u want him to put a heavy weight in there?
He can put a better 1-2 gear ratio in the glide
