  1. Judging by the look of that place I wouldn't let anyone there put air in my tires. What a c*** hole. If their shop is a reflection of the work they do. Sorry no thanks.

  2. So when you have had your hands in as many Cat engines that a experienced Diesel Mechanic have. Where the hardware goes isn't a issue. Why?? Because most of these kits come with new hardware (At least the Rebuild kits we use on our C-15's)
And as for the Diagnosis, With the injector wiring harness being the root cause. Yes, That can and has caused this kind of catastrophic failure. And $4-K to $6-K for a complete head is NOT a bad price. Our last aftermarket Cat head cost us almost $10-K. You'll be fine, Ive seen worse getting repaired in a Walmart parking lot. At least you aren't in the lower end of this engine. That's where it gets really EXPENSIVE. Doing a in-frame today STARTS at $30-K for OEM Cat parts. And can exceed $40-K. What ppl forget is these Cat Engines are NO LONGER being made. Thanks to Obama and his EPA Regulations.

  3. Glad you made it safely and didn’t lose a bunch of shit on the side of the road! We’re all pulling for you guys! Love to see you win one of these soon! 405 is and will always be my favorite team! The real OG’s! God bless

  4. DUDE!! lil' Pete's got no stacks! forget about being succesfull at the track if your Pete has no stacks, not to mention chrome airfilters. Such a disapointment!!

  5. The way that garage looked not really surprised some things were missed. Tires and trash everywhere no pride in their area. I thought that as soon as you started the video and I saw the mess everywhere. Glad you got out of there. $32K Damn!

  6. Not sure where to begin. 1st off it is what it is, meaning the rig broke and you did what you had to in order to get you and your equipment back on the road. NO ONE should have anything to say about how much it cost or anything like that. You were over a barrel and no one in their right mind would leave that set up unattended in that location. Ever. 2nd ok the workmanship wasn’t the best however it made it the 17 hours to the track. Mission accomplished. Shit happens when life knocks you down you simply get up dust yourself off and say “you hit like a bitch” and keep it movin. You did what was right for YOU at that time. Best of luck Shawn. Everyone buy some merch, do your part. 🇺🇸💪🏼

  7. Don't add D-rings. As particular as you guys are, you're not going to want to listen to them rattle driving down the road. Second, if you're removing the fifth wheel completely, have a completely flat bed. Easier to set things on to use for hauling. And you can give it a cleaner look.
