  1. I'm sure he never drove that car around town. It's really not impressive when all you didnt was kill a new engine with a handful of runs

  2. 586 whp and running a lot faster than guys making a lot more horse power. It shows that the overall car's setup is more important that just having a lot of HP.

  3. All these ring land comments….lol. If you know how to take care of your car and get a good tune it wouldn't happen in the first place. It's not subaru's fault….it's the owner. Especially running those shitty maps off the accessport. Only thing it's good for is gauges….

  4. So 40psi and 587whp on the stock long block? And the ring lands didn't explode on the stock pistons? Who tuned this thing? e85? This guy needs to play the lottery lol.

  5. I was skeptical at first about the whole "stock longblock" thing but I guess its possible.  257's come with forged rods and super high octane race fuel is what's keeping the pistons alive. I'm more impressed about the tune and the fact that it was done on a Cobb accessport. The guy can drive his ass off too

  6. Haha.. stock or not…. people will not know for sure unless the block is taken apart in front of everyone, and that will never happen..but a 9.7 is still respectable… so……

  7. Just a quick question, how long have you been running this set up? I blew my 2005 @ around 400 whp using stock internals. I'm planning to do another build with a 2015 sti, any tips on how you maintained your motor?
