STREET RACING Redefined: TX2K10 Supra Nationals is one of the history making events we attended that we knew we could never miss again! Driving down to Houston to see what all the hype was about for our first time left us with our jaws forever floored! Pulling up to parkings lots FILLED with HIGH Horsepower Toyota Supra’s, Nissan GTR’s, and exotics like heavily modified Porsches’a and even our first run in with Twin Turbo Lamborghini’s on the streets! There is no lack of action on the streets of Houston during TX2K and we are proud to bring that adrenaline rush straight to your screen! “This year’s TX2K10 Supra Nationals were nothing short of EPIC. This was 1320Video;s first year covering the event and we didn’t know what to expect. At the end of the event, spectators and participants left Houston after four days of non-stop craziness….many, including us, with an average of 4 hours of sleep per night, our jaws on the floor.
Three nights of street racing with several 1000+ hp cars. Road course racing with tons of Supra’s, GT-R’s and other street cars, a full day of dyno pulls, a car show, and a day’s worth of drag racing to finish it off. Many records, both world and personal, were broken, and lots of grudges were settled. You won’t be disappointed!”

  8. As a longtime road racer, I get a kick watching these high horsepower 2jz's rip around the road course. I am sure they are having as much fun trying to be smooth as I am, enjoying their new experience turning both left and right. I lost my leg and have spent quite a many few years battling cancer. I lost all my racing equipment, my house, my livelihood, my family. The one thing I have tucked away is my first car I ever owned. A 67 Chevy El Camino. That car means EVERYTHING to me. And, until you have really lost it ALL. You find there is one "thing" that has touched you spiritually, and that "thing" is the most beautiful…car, that's when you can see why all of these people are in love with their cars. They represent a regrowth in your past…when your past had light and hope, and you saw a future. Right now, my 67 sits on the side of my neighbors house under a tarp, waiting for my life to have that hope again. She's 4 linked and has the spirit that still burns in my heart to get back up and run because in my heart I know I..we…still can.
    This is the spirit of why, I think, we all do this.

  17. thanks for these old uploads, hopefully some of these internet kids can finally get a perspective on just how insane all the 1000 – 2000+ HP cars they see online are… and also maybe understand that a 500whp street car is very fast.

  23. I was a junior in high school that year, this video was what really got my attention about tx2k. 18 years old, tx2k12, racing, Omni, banged this chick in the back of a challenger, met a ton of awesome people who I still talk to till this day. Fuck yea, good times.

  31. Thanks for posting this. From someone old enough to be a young in the 90's, I lived when Street Racing gained "traction". Seeing this older video, you can "feel" the age in this, and it's nice.
