  1. Im measuring push rod length for some Johnson 2116. Preload spec is .025-.045. Im trying to figure what i should figure for thermal expansion. As the engine reaches operating temp it seems I would lose some preload. .008 is what I think Johnson told me. Iron block aluminum heads.

  2. Can you tell me if this process is the same for brand new lifters that have never been "pumped up"? I assume yes, but just double checking. Thanks for the video!

  3. Great instructional video Phantom. Some people may not understand what base circle of the cam is so maybe you could explain it. I’d try but I’m a dumbass and explaining things is not one of my strengths in life.

  5. Check diagonally opposite cylinders (1-8) and you will actually see if there are any discrepancies in the cam tunnel or the engine block itself or machining errors .

  6. Much respect guys keep it up , Love the new content. I think you should do more of this all the time we would love to get to know ye and learn from ye and see behind the scenes … i'm sure there are others out there like me that go into withdrawels when Street Outlaws is between seasons.

  8. What would be a good tech tip is. Static vs dynamic compression ratio. I always hear people mix them up or they think it is the same thing just different way of saying it. I know the difference but a lot of people dont. Just a idea. Keep on keepin on.
